GUZZO CINEMAS: A MEGA-PLEX FOR THE NEW MEGA CITY OF TERREBONNE Terrebonne, October 17, 2001- After experiencing an immense success with its MEGA-PLEX concept, Guzzo Cinemas will proceed today, in the presence of Jean-Marc Robitaille mayor of Terrebonne, to a guided tour of the construction site of the new MEGA-PLEX TERREBONNE 14. This expansion project of the old Terrebonne 8 theater represents an investment of close to $9 million and will be the only complex of its kinds in the area. MEGA-PLEX TERREBONNE 14 will house 14 curved screens; Dolby Digital EX, DTS (digital theatre system) and SDDS (Sony dynamic digital system) sound equipment, projector consoles with a capacity of more than 4,000 watts and 3,700 "Club Guzzo 23" stadium like seats. MEGA-PLEX TERREBONNE 14 will be a huge entertainment center with 70,000 square feet of total area. Further more, Terrebonne residents will now have access to an amusement park containing bumper cars, bowling alleys and non-violent interactive video games.
