Synopsis

For the past year, Sandra, her husband Samuel, and their 11-year-old son, Daniel, have lived in a remote town in the French Alps. When Samuel is found dead in the snow at the foot of their chalet, the police wonder if he was murdered or if he committed suicide. Samuel's suspicious death is then recognized as a suspected murder, and Sandra becomes the main suspect. Little by little, the trial becomes not just an investigation into the circumstances of Samuel's death, but a disturbing psychological journey into the depths of the conflicted relationship between Sandra and Samuel.
