Synopsis
This remake is focusing on the roots of The Evil Dead. The Evil Dead was intended to be a serious horror film, but due to "melodramatic bad acting" said Campbell The Evil Dead seemed rather humorous. The remake will be significantly darker, disturbing, and brutally violent, so much so that an "R" rating may be difficult to obtain.
